The Physiotherapy department curriculum was designed to train students in the basic principles of Anatomy, Physiology, Neurology, Kinetics, Psycology, Sociology, Pathology, e.t.c. The Departments curriculum coresponds to the assesment of the human body disfunctions of which physiotherapy is being chosen as a treatment that can cope with them. The curriculum aims at:
1. The teaching of human body basic principles,

2. The assesment and analysis of normality deviations,

3. The teaching of choice methods between physiotherapeutic treatments and organs and

4. The proper application of the physiotherapeutic treatments and organs.

Physiotherapy assesment methodology is the cornerstone of a right educational program and includes the inventory of subjective patient findings, his objective problems, the evaluation of all data - information that are acquaried the organization of the rehabilitation program.

Physiotherapy intervenes to the rehabilitiation of patients with:
. heart and respiratory problems
. neurological problems
. pathological problems
. post operation problems
. rheumatic problems
. orthopedic problems
. atheltic strains
. problems of people with special needs
. ergonomic training
. preventive physiotherapy

Physiotherapist uses the following means and methods:
. Heat increase and decrease means
. neuromuscle irritation means
. movement exercise
. special techniques
. pain supression mathods and means
