In case of absence or problem, the President is being
substituted by the Vice President. The Vice President acts supportively
towards the President’s duties and is also responsible for the Institute's
educational issues. Additional jurisdictions can be bestowed
upon the Vice President by authorization of the President.
If the Institute a) has more than twenty operating Faculties,
b) has one or more subsidiaries, which operate outside the Institute’s
base or c) the total number of students exceeds ten thousand, two Vice
Presidents are being elected. Jurisdictions of responsibilities for the two
Vice Presidents are being distributed in accordance to the Institute’s Internal
Regulation, and in absence of the latter in accordance to a Presidential
decision, which is published to the Government Newspaper. Both Vice
Presidents take part in the Institute’s Assembly.
